The FARG had a strong representation at the Solent Overlord show in Hants last week.
Good weather, large crowds and an extensive earth work complimented the display, resulting in excellent coverage and even a mention in the local Portsmouth News! (final picture)
We represented a period from the early 50's to the early 60's and had excellent feedback from the public.
Of especial interest was the display of anti personnel mines and the original configured Hotchkiss 106SR jeep.
At one point we had a queue of children to visit the 'dug out' and trench earthworks.
The Farg welcome a new recruit, we hope to see him again at our next show, and thank some 'old hands' for their guidance and support.
Our next show is in Trowbridge towards the end of June - join us there and come to see the Panhard AML on its first outing since its rebuild.
